Montana slept almost the whole day today...most of it outside. In fact, she's still outside right now laying in the lawn. I had to come in to get some work done, so I stuck the cats in the garage so I could leave the door open so she could come it when she was ready. Everytime I check on her she's sound asleep. She is still definitely sore...wimpering as she moves. It appears that it's just muscle soreness though as her incision still looks pretty good. There's bruising, but it's not excessive and there is some fluid build up but it's not inflamed. She does enjoy having a heat pack on her though, so we do that 3 times a day. She did eat a whole chicken breast this morning which was great. I only intended to feed her half, but she ate that quickly and then looked at me like she wanted more, so I gave her the rest. She's always been a picky eater, and I think the medicine's been a little hard on her stomach. Today was a better day than yesterday though...I have a feeling we'll have more of these ups and downs as she heals.
