Chemo went well

Torsten got home yesterday to a happy, bouncy, tail wagging dog. She really does miss him when he's at work and with his new schedule, he's always gone for two days at a time. On the way to VCA, Monty was very happy to go for a car ride and to go visit the vets. She had her chemo treatment and came out of it really well. It was a two hour procedure and she got the drug Carboplatin. She has to go back next week for a CBC and then in three weeks for another chemo treatment. She came home and was feeling really good, but didn't want to eat her dinner. She slept in a little longer this morning and then came down on her own. She didn't eat her breakfast either, but loss of apetite seems to be normal. We're both home today so we'll be able to keep an eye on her.
