Yesterday, Monty rested most of the day. I wrapped my magnets around her whenever she would let me, but she didn't really like being all bundled up. They, along with the rest, seemed to help. Torsten said when he came home this morning that she was standing up, wagging her tail...so that was a good sign.
I called Sac Vet Rehab first thing this morning and scheduled an appointment for Monty for Tuesday. Our appointment will be with a vet, but Dr. Stevens, the chiropractor, is only in the office on Tuesdays so it will work out well. To make this work, we had to bump her appointment at VCA until later in the day. We're going to meet with Dr. Gabby and have Montana's stitches taken out and talk a bit about chemo. We're also going to meet with a surgeon to discuss surgery. Right now, Torsten and I really want to try the alternative therapy before putting her through an additional surgery. We're really hopeful that some accupuncture or chiro work will help her become more comfortable.
