We just got through with our appointment with Dr. Valverde. It was a little nerve-wracking because as Dr. Valverde was examining Montana, she thought she found some pain in her hips. They quickly x-rayed her to see what was going on and luckily, it was nothing. Big sigh of relief there! When I met Torsten and Monty at the vet, I noticed that the nails on Monty's left paw were painted. Torsten read about this online as a way to make sure the vet took the right foot off. I appreciate Torsten's care, but I certainly hope he doesn't quit his day job to become a manicurist!
Monty is home tonight and then goes in first thing tomorrow morning for her operation. She'll have to stay at the hospital until Thursday.
